Anthony Kiedis po prvi put priča o pesmi "Brandan's Death Song".
Novi album "I'm With You", deseti po redu, grupe Red Hot Chili Peppers će sadržati pesmu "Brandan's Death Song", koju je bend posvetio prijatelju koji je nedavno preminuo. O tome kako je pesma nastala, pevač Anthony Kiedis kaže: "Brandon je umro na dan kad smo imali prvu probu sa novim gitaristom Joshom Klinghofferom. Kad sam stigao na probu rekao sam ostalima da je on umro. Prosto smo krenuli da sviramo bez priče."
Brandan Mullen je britanski novinar i vlasnik kluba, koji je dao šansu bendu na početku njihove karijere 1983. U trenutku smrti, radio je na biografiji benda Red Hot Chili Peppers.
