Fans of Red Hot Chili Peppers can hear the band’s first single The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie on Wednesday, July 13, five days before it’s scheduled to drop in the states.


BBC Radio’s Zane Lowe announced he will world premiere the first single at 7:30pm local time (11:30am west coast).

The Adventures of Raindance Maggie has been described as "a hard-pop spin on classic Chili Peppers funk, with a creeping bass line and a marching-disco rhythm in the chorus,” by Rolling Stones critic David Fricke.

Oakland rapper and videographer Kreayshawn (Natassia Zolot) was selected to direct the video for Raindance Maggie telling MTV: "It's got that organic feel, but it still gives the band a great shine and they look f-cking awesome.”

RHCP recently revealed the cover art for their tenth studio album, I’m With You would be designed by controversial British artist, Damien Hirst.

A fly resting on a pink and white medicine capsule is described by Anthony Kiedis as: “an image. Its art, “ he tells Spin Magazine. “We didn’t give it its meaning but it's clearly open to interpretation.”

I’m With You is set for release on August 30.
